The Camera


1. Shutter Lag- Allows photos to be times more precisely.
2. Focal Plane Shutter- Located in the front of the film plane, prevents the light from reaching the film even if the lens is removed.
3. Focusing Screen- Found in a system camera that allows the user of the camerato preview the image in a viewfinder.
4. Parallax- A difference or displacement in the apparent position of an object viewed along two different lines of sight, and measured by the angle or semi-angle of inclination between those two


                                              


                                                

5. Aperture- A hole or an opening light travels through. More specifically, the aperture of an optical system is the opening that determines the cone angle of a bundle of rays that come to a focus in the image plane.
6. Shutter- A light-sensitive electronic sensor to light to capture a permanent image of a scene.
7. Exposure- The amount of light allowed to fall on each area unit of a photographic medium during the process of taking a picture.
8. Depth Of Field- The distance between the nearest and farthest objects in a scene that appear acceptably sharp in an image.
9. F Stop- The setting of an adjustable lens aperture, indicated by an f number.

10. Focal Length- A measure of how strongly the system converges or diverges light.

Flash Button- Turns on the flash during the process of taking a photo.
Shutter Button- Button you press to actually take the photo
